Clitheroe’s town centre grew up around Clitheroe Castle, the Norman keep that still stands on the hill above the market place, and a lot of the older housing close to the centre sits on narrow, stone-built streets from that period: tight turns, front doors onto the pavement, not much room to spare. Mirrors, artwork, antiques, office equipment and anything with sentimental weight travel insured, in transit and in storage, wherever the job is in Clitheroe.
Not every part of Clitheroe is built like that. The newer estates on the edges of town have driveways and wider roads, a different job again, which is one reason we look at what we are dealing with at both ends before we quote.

Streets near Clitheroe Castle and the town centre are narrower than the driveways on the newer estates further out, so where the van can sit and how far the crew carries can look very different from one Clitheroe job to the next. If a piano is part of the move, we have staff trained to handle it, with the right equipment for the job. Book us for packing and it comes as part of the price rather than a bolt-on charge later: we supply the boxes, wrap everything properly for the road, and reuse boxes where we can.
