We bring whichever crew a job calls for rather than sending the same team out regardless of size. A small flat move and a full family house are treated differently from the start, matched to what is actually moving.

Moving from Stacksteads’ hillside terraces

Stacksteads sits along the valley floor between Rawtenstall and Bacup, and a lot of its housing is stone-built terraces that climb the hillsides rather than sitting on the flat. That shapes how a move runs: the van often parks on the street rather than a driveway, and staircases can be steep and narrow. We plan for exactly that: beds, wardrobes and flat-pack furniture are dismantled and reassembled at the other end rather than forced through a turn, and everything you own travels insured, on the road and in storage if it needs to sit there a while, covering the ordinary and the delicate alike, artwork, mirrors, antiques and office equipment.

Not every street in Stacksteads climbs the hillside, of course. Flatter stretches along the valley floor are a different day’s work, which is one of the reasons we look at the access before we quote rather than guessing.
