We are a family-run removals and storage company, trading since 2016 and based in Rossendale, Lancashire. Jane owns the firm. Local house removals are what we set out to do at the start, and they are still the work: houses moved within the valley, and plenty moved out of it. When you get in touch there is no chain to go down. The person who quotes your move is the person who turns up to do it, so what you are told at the start is what happens on the day. The phone is answered around the clock for quotes and enquiries, and if we are out on a job when you ring, leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we can. A text or a WhatsApp message works just as well if that is easier than ringing.
As the work grew, so did the crew. Four vans now, sized to the job: a single item one day, a full house the next.

We run four vans and size the crew to the job, so we take on everything from a single item to a full house move. Pianos, safes and heavy equipment are handled their own way, and we bring the training and the kit for those. Office moves work to whatever timing suits the business, including evenings and weekends, and that covers the IT equipment as well as the furniture. Packing is yours to take or leave: do it yourself if you would rather, or we will do it and include it in the price we quote you. Goods are insured in transit and in storage, which matters when a move includes antiques, mirrors, artwork or office equipment. We handle those carefully and tell you honestly what a job involves.
As the work grew we added our own managed storage: we collect, we store, we bring it back when you are ready.

Most of the time your belongings go from the old house straight into the new one, in a day. The depot is there for the moves that need it: a gap between completion dates, or a house that is not ready yet. It is in Helmshore, in the Rossendale valley. Unlike self-storage, there is no rented space to load and unload yourself and no van to hire at either end. We have space for anything from a few boxes to the contents of a house. The storage is heated and secured with CCTV and an alarm. Access is managed rather than open all hours: a member of staff meets you at a time that suits, and you are welcome to add your own lock. You can visit the depot by arrangement before you book.
The valley is still home, and the road runs nationwide, as far as Scotland.

Regular work takes us to Bury, Accrington, Rawtenstall, Bolton, Rochdale, Burnley, Oldham and Haslingden, as well as the wider Rossendale valley.
