How our managed storage works
Managed storage means we do the moving. We collect your things, store them at our depot, and bring them back when you are ready. Unlike self-storage, you are not the one hauling everything in and out.
We are a family-run firm based in Rossendale, with our depot at Park Mill on Holcombe Road. When you book, we agree a time, load up, and take everything back to the depot. When you want it returned, we bring it to your address. Managed storage covers, as standard:
- Collection from your address, and redelivery wherever you need it when you are ready
- Heated space, which matters for anything that would suffer in a cold, damp winter: furniture, electricals, paperwork, instruments
- CCTV and an alarm at the depot
- Managed access: a member of staff meets you at a time that suits you, you can add your own lock, and you are welcome to visit by arrangement
- A size of space to suit what you are storing, from a few boxes to the full contents of a house
How much does storage cost?
There is no set rate, because the price follows how much you are storing and for how long. Space for a few boxes is a different job from a full house of furniture, and a few weeks between moves is different from a year. Tell us what is going in and roughly how long for, and we will put together a quote with no obligation.

How long can you store things with us?
As long as you need. Most people come to us in one of a handful of situations. A sale completes before the purchase does, and the furniture needs somewhere to go until the new keys arrive. A garage or loft is being cleared before a valuation. A business runs short of space and wants stock or documents stored properly instead of stacked in a back room. On our side the job is the same each time: we collect it, store it, and return it when you say.

What size storage do I need?
You do not need to work that out yourself. We do the measuring when we quote, and match what is going in to the right size of space. Because we handle the collection and delivery ourselves, you do not need a van or a spare afternoon either. We have been moving local households since 2016, and the same vans that run our removals look after storage too. Tell us roughly what needs storing and we will work out the space with you.
