What an office removal involves
An office move has more moving parts than a house move. Desks, filing, IT kit and shared equipment all have to come down, travel and go back up in working order, usually against a deadline. Our job as office movers is to plan that sequence so your business can carry on either side of it. The aim is a Monday morning where people sit down and get on with work.
We start with a survey of the current premises and the new site. That tells us what needs packing and dismantling, and how vans and lifts will be used at both ends. Every office move includes:

- Goods insurance covering your things in transit and in storage

How much does an office move cost?
Every office move is priced individually, so there is no rate card to quote from. What actually shapes the cost is the size of the move, the distance between sites, access at both ends such as lifts and parking, how much needs packing or dismantling, and specialist items like IT equipment and safes. A single-floor office with a lift by the door is a different job from a multi-storey site down a flight of stairs, even with a similar headcount.

How long does an office relocation take?
It depends on the size of the office, the access at both ends and how far you are travelling between sites, which is why we look at the job before we put a time on it. When we quote, we tell you how long we expect the move to take and what it needs.
The earlier you can share your dates with us, the better placed we are to plan the move around your business hours, including evenings and weekends where that helps. Get in touch with your dates and we will confirm what the job needs.

The difference with a business relocation is timing. Most firms cannot afford to lose a working day, so we accommodate whatever time constraint the move needs, including evenings and weekends. That keeps downtime to a minimum and lets staff walk back into a working office. We plan the loading bay and the route in advance so the van is not left waiting on the day.
We move your IT and office equipment ourselves, so servers, monitors and workstations are handled with care rather than left to a general courier. If there are old files to clear, we can dispose of confidential documents as part of the move. And if the new premises are not ready in time, we offer managed business storage: we collect, store and redeliver your things when you need them, rather than you managing a self-storage rental yourself.
